Clinical Excellence
Care delivery
Our hospitals deliver the highest quality care to the most vulnerable patient populations. Each hospital is autonomous to provide the kind of care its professional and medical staff direct based on the needs of the patients in that community. Embedding within the community is the top priority of each Signature hospital. As such, no two Signature hospitals are alike. There is a variation on program offerings, age groups, outpatient programs, and group therapy based on the needs of each community and relying on the professional judgment of our medical and licensed staff.
Survey preparedness
Signature provides preparedness tools to each hospital for state and federal surveys, based on the applicable regulations.
Training
Each Signature hospital is dedicated to high quality patient care and ethical behavior, as demonstrated in our commitment to training in evidence-based, trauma-informed care practices. Through partnerships with CMS and The Joint Commission, we are able to provide trainings related to our industry’s most up-to-date regulations and guidelines.
Re-education opportunities are identified through the use of compliance audit tools internally developed using the most current information provided by CMS and The Joint Commission. Our hospitals provide re-education on an in-person basis in order to support staff in obtaining a thorough understanding of processes and procedures. Signature supports use of online platforms, such as HealthStream, for orientation and some continuing education to offer staff the benefit of both electronic and in-person trainings to best meet their learning needs. Up to date knowledge of current regulations and guidelines, along with consistent audits of current practices, provides us and our hospitals with in-the-moment opportunities for education. Training and re-training ensures staff feel competent in providing high quality patient care and are confident in our dedication to them as well as our patients.
Training is valued at all levels of experience and to support directors in their goals, corporate leadership provides monthly calls to all the department leaders for each of our 16 hospitals to discuss best practices and assist with problem solving in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
